The 11. World Environmental Education Congress (WEEC) will take place in Prague and other places around Czechia between March 14 and 18, 2022. The main theme of the congress is Building bridges in times of climate crisis. Significant persons from the world of academia and practice of environmental education will share their thoughts. The congress will enable discussions of current topics and perspectives of environmental education and education for sustainale development. Discussions will take place in themed parallel sections, as well as cross-cutting dialogs. Czech environmental centers will participate as well, by offering practical workshops in context of field sessions. Other congress activities include excursions and the Youth Environmental Education congress for young active people (between 14 and 26 years of age).
We invite all experts in the field of sustainable development or environmental education, as well as those who focus on environmental connections in their research. The deadline for sending abstracts is 31.8.2021, which is also the deadline for early bird registration.
The congress is organized by Masaryk University, AIM Group International and the WEEC Network, cooperating with Charles University, the Ministry of Environment and many other partners.
