Planning of in-depth interviews with wholesale dealers, retailers, and car repair shops, through which the spare parts and components travel today, constituting so-called linear reverse logistics. Knowledge of their attitudes, barriers, and incentives for changing their path and involving them within circular reverse logistics is essential for further progress of the ReCiPSS project.

Students from six European universities helped companies respond to sustainability challenges

ECON MUNI offers many unique opportunities to connect studies with practice. In the spring of last year and this year, students had the opportunity to attend a course where they experienced what it is like to work on a project commissioned by the global cosmetics brand Yves Rocher. The best of the first round won a week's stay in Cagliari, Italy. Petra Cendelínová, a student of business economics and management, took part in the competition.

Invitation to a two-day sustainable management conference

A two-day event for academics and professionals focusing on sustainability management will provide a space to share new pedagogical tools developed over the last three years in the Educating for Positive Management (EDUC+M) project. Participants will share best practices related to sustainability education and discuss current challenges. The conference will take place on 31 May and 1 June 2023 on the campus of University Paris Nanterre. Registration is required for the event.

Researchers at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University will lead a pioneering EU-funded project that aims to create a set of integrated digital solutions together with an open access platform that will drive circularity by digitising Europe’s electrical and automotive value recovery system.

Market research for Neovize Brno eye clinic

A team of students performed a market study for Neovize Brno Eye Clinic. The study was led by our former colleague Klára Kašparová as part of the Marketing Research course. The clinic was interested in the attitudes of a certain group of people toward some of their services. Neovize was satisfied with the study to such an extent that they requested a follow-up study in the next semester, this time also led by Renata Čuhlová as part of the Marketing Communications course. The goal of the study was to find ways to effectively connect with the target demographic, educate it about services offered and motivate it to immediate consumption. The study was yet again a complete success.
